4.7 Configuring CPU Duct Fan Assembly the Intel®
APTWKTCOOLKIT for SE7505VB2 Intel® Server Board
Fold the Air Duct that came with your Intel® Workstation Acoustic Kit as illustrated in figure 17.
Make sure that the black marker lines are positioned towards the inside of the Air Duct. Begin
with fold #1 and proceed through fold #7. Completed Air Duct should look like left and right
views (see #8 and #9 in the following figure).

Attach Air Duct to Rear System Fan. Locate the air direction arrow on the side of the Rear
System Fan and position fan as shown in the following figure. (The label on the Rear System
Fan should face towards the back of the system chassis and the finger guard should face
towards the server board.) Ensure that the Fan Power Cable (letter B in the figure) exits at lower
right-hand corner.
