Expansion board 

Your ProLiant server has four expansion slots with four separate bus channels.

To install an expansion board: 

1. 

Perform the pre-installation procedure. 

2. 

Prepare the system for the expansion board installation. 

a. 

Loosen the expansion slot cover retainer thumbscrew (1). 

b. 

Detach the expansion slot cover retainer from the chassis (2).
